A friend of mine lent a book to me called, Unstuck: A Tool for Yourself, Your Team, and Your World by Keith Yamashita and Sandra Spataro.
When I first got the book, to be very honest, I didn’t open it. I was too stuck.
Being stuck is never a good place to be, but especially if we don’t recognize that we’re stuck. This is, unfortunately, where I have been camping out over the past month. And, I needed to get unstuck…

New authors face fierce criticism. Not the least of which is from ourselves.
And in that we are being so deeply criticized, it becomes increasingly difficult to believe that others are going to enjoy the words that we have painstakingly placed on the pages of our book.
Once you get past this ridiculous thinking, you have to think like a marketer. You didn’t write your book to sit on your shelf! You wrote your book for others to read and sit on THEIR shelves! So how are you going to make that happen?

Many times when I tell speakers that they need video, they tell me they already have video of themselves speaking. Great!
