I have heard similar ones before. The one "caution" is that the items on that list be tasks and not projects. A task is something that is one step and takes less than a day. A project is multiple steps and takes more than one day. Therefore, one task on that "list of three" could be to draft one chapter of a new book. However, if you put "write a book" as one of your 3, then you'll be sorely disappointed at the end of the day because writing a book is a project, not a task. This is a wonderful idea.
