Manic Monday – Top 5
So as I sat down to write today’s Manic Monday post, I thought to myself, “Deidre, you haven’t really done a post about your new BlogTalkRadio station yet.”
Holy Cow! I can’t believe it.
While I have authors lined up for the show - Author BUZZ - through the end of April, I’m interviewing authors weekly and will always be looking for passionate authors to schedule for my show.
So, here we go…
Introducing Author BUZZ!!
Here are the 5 parameters that you must pass to be a guest on my show, Author BUZZ:
1. You’re a published author!
The idea is to help others to learn something about your process to becoming a published author.
2. Your book is focused on business development or personal development.
This is a strong focus! I’m passionate about personal development and whatever helps me to become a better business person. This is my audience.
3. Your book is available on Amazon.
This allows me to place a picture of your book along with a direct link to Amazon to help you sell more books.
4. You are willing to send me a copy of your book to review at least 3 weeks prior to the airing of your interview.
This is extremely important as I want to have an understanding of what I am interviewing you about!
5. Once you are given a date, time and link to your show, you must spend some time marketing your segment.
This makes sense for both of us. I will be participating in marketing through a press release, writing about you on my blog, and utilizing social media to talk about your interview. The more people that attend the live session, the richer the experience is for everyone!
Author BUZZ airs live, but is also recorded and available for listeners well after the airing of the show. Once I have received a copy of your book, you will receive more information about what to expect before, during and after the show airs. I will also send you a list of questions as a guideline for the show. Once you read the questions, you are more than welcome to send in questions that you would like to have asked as well.
I look forward to hearing from you!
