Wicked Wednesday

Last week I wrote a post about Blip.fm and how you can listen to music and share it with your friends. This week, I’m just as excited about another really cool site that you could add into your social media strategy! This site allows you to set up your own talk radio program on the web: BlogTalkRadio.

BlogTalkRadio offers the following benefits to the producer (that’s you!):

no software download is required
connect quickly and directly with your audience
free, live, call-in talk shows with unlimited participants
shows are automatically archived and made available as podcasts
listeners can subscribe to shows via RSS into iTunes and other feed readers
build your credibility using a different type of platform

Very, very wicked! There are a host of other benefits, for me, those are the highlights.

In addition, there are already thousands of shows available for you to listen to for your personal education or to learn more about how you would (or wouldn’t) host your own show.

Oh yeah…I’m starting my own program! I’m going to be interviewing Business and Motivational Authors starting with authors in the 919 area code (I will be expanding to talk with authors in other area codes). My first interview will be on March 18, 2009 with Chris Morrissette.
