Now this is cool!
We’ve all been in this situation (and if you haven’t, you REALLY need to get out more).
You’ve gone to a networking event and met someone and you mutually decided that it would be good to have a meeting at another time. Great! Wait. It’s not great. You each live and/or work on opposite ends of town. Where are you going to meet?
Welcome to Meet Inbetween Us!
This online application allows you to input your address and the address of your newfound friend. After you click “Find a Place to Meet”, it spits out an address in between the two of you. Cool.
But, what if that’s in the middle of an area you’re not familiar with…how is that helpful? What if I want to meet at a coffee shop or a theater or a library?
No problem. Once you get to the page with the “in between address”, a new menu is presented. You can click on any of the menu options to see a whole new set of optional locations to meet. So, what’s on the menu? I’m so glad you asked!
Menu options: Food, coffee shop, gold course, bar, hotel, library, mall, theater, apple store, other
What’s up with the “other” option?
Ah, well, this is why it’s a “wicked” app!
What if you want to meet at Panera because you want free wi-fi and an awesome cookie (yeah, I’ve been there…a couple of times). Click on the “other” option and type in your favorite location. If it’s Panera, all of the Paneras in the vicinity of your inbetween location are shown on the map with a list of addresses beneath the map.
